How do you value marine equipment?
We work to recognised international valuation standards. Depending on the purpose, we present value on the appropriate bases: Open Market Value (OMV), Orderly Liquidation Value (OLV) and Forced Sale Value (FSV). Methodology fits the asset; Depreciated Replacement Cost (DRC) for specialist equipment with no active secondary market, market benchmarking where comparable transactions exist. We assess operational status, maintenance records and refurbishment requirements, with site inspection where the assignment requires it, and for large fleets on a representative walkthrough basis.
