Where the supply comes from
Vessel conversions, decommissioning programmes and yard surplus drive most of the flow. Documentation varies by asset. We review certification, load-test records and operational history on every unit and disclose upfront on every enquiry. Equipment from established manufacturers including Caterpillar, Wärtsilä, Cummins, Liebherr, Palfinger, Rolls-Royce and Yanmar.
We also handle direct operator divestments; equipment removed from contract or replaced under fleet renewal.
Automatic mooring spread system.
What buyers ask for
Current load test, NDT records, last major service and component history. Where the asset is removed from a known hull, we provide the removal record and operational hours.
For LARS, integration data; including HPU specification, control interface and mounting envelope; is part of the standard data pack.
Thruster removal during a propulsion refit.

FAQ
Common questions
Can equipment be brokered while still installed on the vessel?
Yes. We regularly broker assets in-situ, with removal handled as part of the sale.
Do you broker mooring and anchor handling equipment?
Yes. Mooring lines, chain, anchors and anchor handling tooling are handled through this desk and the offshore construction desk depending on scope.
What about cranes without current certification?
We list them transparently as ‘cert lapsed’ and price accordingly. Recertification path is included in the data pack.
Do you sell marine engines or propulsion?
Yes. Marine diesel engines, gensets and propulsion units are brokered through this desk, typically coming off repowers, conversions and decommissioning.
Are A-frames and LARS categorised here or under ROV?
LARS and A-frames live here under Marine Equipment because they are deployment hardware. Buyers sourcing a complete ROV and LARS spread are typically routed via the ROV desk; we coordinate across desks.
Do you broker shipyard surplus in bulk?
Occasionally. Yard-clearance lots covering mixed deck equipment come up from time to time; where they do, we structure them as packages or break them into line items based on the buyer pool.
Buy-side or sell-side?
Submit your requirement; our brokers will engage the market on your behalf.
