Multiple camera OEM partners

The desk carries more than one camera manufacturer, so the requirement drives the selection rather than the other way round. Sensor, lighting and software fit are assessed per enquiry before anything is proposed.

ROV, AUV and diver-held

Camera and recorder packages scoped for inspection ROV fleets, AUV payloads, diver-held units and fixed-monitoring deployments.

Integration on existing vehicles

Most camera enquiries are integration jobs; power, comms, mounting and data handling are scoped with the OEM before PO release.

Buying

Specify the host platform (ROV, AUV, diver, fixed asset), depth rating, recording and data deliverable. We engage the right camera manufacturer and return a configured proposal with cameras, lighting, recorders and integration support.

Selling

Two routes in. Subsea imaging manufacturers evaluating distribution into the European and global ROV and AUV market are welcome to engage the desk. Operators with surplus cameras, lights and imaging packages can list them through the brokerage desk.

How this segment is distributed

The camera is what the client actually buys; everything else on an inspection ROV exists to put the camera in front of the asset. Sensor performance, dynamic range, low-light response, lighting integration and recording fidelity are where inspection-class fleets live or die.

Our camera partners build around that reality. Each supplies a coherent set of cameras, lighting and recorders designed to work together, with imaging software and post-processing capability behind them.

HD and 4K primary cameras, secondary camera channels, low-light and high-dynamic-range sensors, paired LED lighting suites, on-vehicle solid-state recorders and topside overlay infrastructure are configured to mission. Time-lapse and digital evidence-pack options are added where the deliverable demands it.

Sensor selection is mission-led; pipeline tracking, structural inspection, biological survey and fixed-asset monitoring all have different optics, lighting and recording requirements. The desk works the configuration in alongside the relevant OEM’s product engineering team.

Most subsea camera enquiries are fleet refreshes; new cameras and lighting onto a working ROV or AUV. Power budget, comms bandwidth, mounting envelope, recording capacity and post-processing software all need to be scoped before PO release. We loop the OEM technical team in during the proposal.

Yes; fleet refresh is a common scope. Lead times are relatively manageable if not in stock. We confirm the integration scope (power, comms, mounting) with the ROV OEM during the proposal.
