Short-notice availability
Smart Dives runs a rolling replacement manufacturing programme. The moment a unit, system or spread is sold, the replacement goes into build. The practical effect is that there is usually finished stock or a near-complete unit on the shop floor instead of a cold order waiting for a slot, and lead times sit at the sharp end of the diving manufacturing market.
That covers diver decompression chambers, LARS, surface reel packs, gas storage quads, dive control containers, helmets and panels, through to complete surface-supplied spreads. If a project has been awarded with a short mobilisation window, this is the route worth testing first.

Certification and class
Smart Dives equipment is CE certified, so European contractors can put it to work without a separate conformity exercise. Spreads are delivered with the documentation pack required for IMCA D 023 audit, and ABS classed builds are available where the project, vessel or end client calls for a class society certificate.
Where a flag state or client has its own acceptance regime, we scope the certification requirement at quotation stage rather than discovering it at delivery.
Where surface-supplied wins
Surface-supplied diving (SSD) is the default for shallow-water intervention; civil marine, port and harbour, inshore inspection, near-shore wind foundation work. It carries fewer crew, less deck footprint and lower running cost than a saturation spread.
Most contractors run multiple SSD spreads. Buying new is a function of fleet growth, vessel new-build, replacing legacy equipment, or covering an urgent workfront that the existing fleet cannot absorb.
Spread vs. component buying
Complete new spreads suit contractor expansion, new vessel mobilisation or a major refresh. Component buying; a DDC, a LARS, a set of SRPs, a helmet generation, a backup gas management system; is faster again and is often the right answer when only one part of the spread is the constraint.

Containerised dive control
