As the distributor for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Poland, Dockstr offers its clients Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and associated products from Seaber, a leader in small AUV technology solutions serving the marine survey industries.
YUCO, a Precise, Agile and Affordable micro-AUV
SEABER’s YUCO micro-AUV is designed to be a highly reliable, robust, and efficient autonomous platform for research and oceanographic applications and can be deployed by a single person in most offshore conditions.
The AUV comprises a standard middle/rear section housing everything dedicated to navigation, power (batteries), propulsion and embedded electronics. The frontal section hosts the variable payload where the AUV can be configured as required with quick plug-and-play integration of new sensors.
The YUCO comes in eight different configurations ranging from Swath bathymetry (2D or 3D side-scan sonar), general visual inspection (video + lighting), salinity and temperature (CTD), water quality, acoustic monitoring and environmental DNA sampling. The various configurations are shown in more detail below.
With minimal maintenance requirements and a high level of manufacturer support, you can rely on this AUV for consistent performance. Additionally, YUCO is easily and safely transportable, making it ideal for various marine research and oceanographic applications.
